RN Requirements
30 contact hours/2 years
All RNs in the State of Hawaii who wish to maintain an active license are required to complete 30 hours of continuing education for license renewal. Alternate renewal methods are applicable – please reference the state board for more information.

Advanced Practice Nursing Requirements
30 contact hours/2 years
All APRNs in the State of Hawaii who wish to maintain an active license are required to complete 30 hours of continuing education for license renewal. Alternate renewal methods are applicable – please reference the state board for more information.
Eight (8) hours must be in pharmacology.
